General Rules
When joining one of my fanlistings, there are a few things you should keep in mind.
First and foremost: You must provide a valid email, name, and country as per TFL.org's rules. I am quite lenient on the name bit. However, please refrain from using all CAPS or StIcKyCaPs. It annoys me to no end. I will edit your name otherwise. If you use some identifier so you can find your name amongst all the others with your name, I will try to remember to keep it in place. I do after all join all lists under the name Elizabeth mK, which is not a typo. It is quite annoying to have to find my name amongst all the other Elizabeth's when someone removes my "mK". I accomodate my guests as best as I am able.
Secondly, and this is very important. If you are displaying a return link or code: DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES USE ANYTHING FOR THE DOMAIN OTHER THAN http://moonstar.profusehost.net/fan!!! I may just have the money at some point to do away with my ad-required-host and move to one of their sister hosts. If you join and list the link as "http://moonstar.profusehost.net/fan/somethingorother" your link will no longer work and you'll think it closed and you'll delete it. Then I'll have to email you and you may have changed your email and then I'll have to delete you. This isn't a fun process as I've had to deal with it from the Fan side. The link is displayed within every fanlisting. Please use it exactly.
Some general form notes I have noticed. 1. Do not type NONE in the url box. If you do not have a site or do not want your site listed, leave this field blank. 2. If you think the code may be difficult for me to find please leave me a comment telling me where to find it. I have already traversed my share of MySpace and LiveJournal blogs looking for codes. I do NOT have all the time in the world. 3. If you make your own code and want me to "consider it a donation", leave me a comment on your join form. Or shoot me an email. Someone didn't use the Donate Codes form, but left me a comment stating that she made her own. It is great to see what others do with codes. Gives me ideas for my backlog of unfinished codes.
